TORVEX 10 | 20 | 40

TORVEX is a loop diuretic used for the management of fluid retention associated with heart failure, hypertension, and edema. By promoting urinary excretion of sodium and water, it effectively reduces swelling and helps control blood pressure. The tablets are available in strengths of 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg to suit different patient needs.

COMPOSITION:

• Torsemide 10 mg / 20 mg / 40 mg

MODE OF ACTION: Torsemide inhibits the Na+/K+/2Cl- symporter in the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle, leading to increased excretion of sodium, chloride, and water, thereby reducing edema and controlling blood pressure.

INDICATIONS:

• Management of edema associated with heart failure, renal or hepatic disorders.
• Adjunct therapy for hypertension.

DOSAGE:

• Recommended dose: 1 tablet once daily, or as prescribed by the medical practitioner.
• Dose adjustments may be required based on clinical response and severity.

STORAGE: Store at room temperature not exceeding 25ᵒC, in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
